well, i must say that today was an interesting day for me (amber). despite having to go to the dentist, which i never really "enjoy", i also had the wonderful opportunity of going to the mt. clemens court house to apply for our marriage license! its funny to have to walk through a metal detector, give someone your purse to scan it and remove all items of jewelry just to be able to apply to get married, but i guess you gotta do what you gotta do! hopefully the marriage license will be ready to go on thursday, pending all of my information was correct.

the fact that it says "anticipated wedding date" amused me....almost as if they are saying there is a chance they wont let you or something!

i figured i would include an engagement picture in this post. it seems like we took these pics just yesterday, and already we are 7 months down the road and our wedding is only a week a half away! i cant believe how excited i am getting. even the burden of school and finals hasnt squashed my excitement for the big day. its going to be perfect.
until next time......

peer-pressure

it seems that these days EVERYONE we know has a blog. and not only does everyone have a blog, but they also regularly update their blog, which is incredibly impressive to us. we keep being asked by other people when we are going to start our own blog, so we have decided to give in to the peer-pressure and begin one! lets just hope we have better luck than we did on our engagement website's blog...=)

this also seems like the perfect timing to begin "blogging" because i (amber) get to dote on jesse who just completed his 20-mile run yesterday!!! he started out at big beaver and schoenherr, with me next to him on the bike, ran down 16 to metro beach and then down jefferson to our house on Gordon. this was the first time that i have ever biked with him during one of his long runs, and i must admit that it was so much fun to just be with him and to be able to be the one that kept him going at mile 18 when all he wanted to do was stop!! at one point during the run he started laughing at how funny it was that we had spent our entire saturday night working out when we had two kenney chesney tickets sitting at home. but it didnt matter, we were having the best time just being together!

here are some pics of his incredible run:
